Pierre Boon International: The poetry of a timeless vision
In the 1970s, fuelled by his passion for the world of circuses, Pierre Boon decided to redesign the world of temporary spaces.
Existing temporary spaces primarily provided protection with little consideration of merging with their surroundings; they never entered a lively dialogue with the locations they occupied.
What was clearly lacking on these stages for the most beautiful expressions of human emotion, was a soul.
This gave birth to PBI, the simple yet bold vision of creating temporary structures that integrate perfectly into any environment and not stand out as foreign objects.

The first PBI orangeries were created and characterised a new way of celebrating life. At the crossroads of art and engineering, these unique structures became more than just shelters, they epitomise a perfect balance between technical precision and the pursuit of beauty.
